Black Bean & Squash Veggie Burgers

We always have people with a variety of eating preferences & palates attending our BBQ's. In response, I've always had fun experimenting with flavors and making new burgers for our get-togethers. This time I want to share one that was tried and tested with our family recently and is sure to be a hit at your summer BBQ's. This soy-free veggie burger is packed with flavor, that plays off the herby cilantro and spicy BBQ sauce, topped with an avocado slice on a sesame seed bun. Banana Chocolate Chia Pudding

Working from home due to COVID-19 hasn't diminished 3 o'clock in the afternoon pick-me up chocolate cravings! I was scanning the cupboard this morning looking for something to put together  for later and I see the Raw Cacao nibs next to the Chia seeds...a plan is forming...It's been awhile since we've had chia seed pudding!

Bananas contain fiber, potassium, antioxidants, and vitamin C, while Chia seeds are loaded with fiber, calcium, protein, Omega-3s and antioxidants and Raw Cacao flavanols have been shown to help lower blood pressure and cholesterol, while potentially improving cognition. That sounds like a powerhouse heart healthy combo for a 3pm snack!

This Chocolate Chia Pudding is great for those sweet snack cravings, dessert, or breakfast. Dark Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding mixed with raw cacao nibs layered with thinly sliced ripe banana...a perfect mix of healthy decadence.

Here is my recipe:
