It officially feels like summer! Warm weather, sunny days! We've been spending the evenings gardening or relaxing on the porch. While we were picking up wine this week, something caught my eye... Strawberry moonshine. Since we'd never tried moonshine and all I knew about it was from the Discovery channel show, we thought let's give it a try. It was strong and tasty on it's own, but as the base for a cocktail is where it truly shined in my book. :)
Here's my recipe:
Strawberry Sunshine - Moonshine Cocktail
Emily (Cooking for Kishore)
Strawberry Moonshine cocktail, a deliciously strong cocktail perfect for a warm evening.

2 oz. Strawberry Moonshine
2 oz. Passionfruit Syrup
4 oz. Ice Water
Ice
Instructions
Mix well in a glass over ice, top with a thin slice of lime.
Love the colour of this strawberry drink. Its getting warm here too, we have been getting the allotment garden plot ready for vegetable seedlings. I am looking forward to spending more evenings out there too, drinking something like this.
Hi Shaheen, these are definitely perfect for after garden work. Looking forward to seeing pics of your veggie hauls this summer! Our garden has really started to bloom now with the warmer weather, looking forward to berries in the next week or so. :)
