Black Bean & Squash Veggie Burgers

We always have people with a variety of eating preferences & palates attending our BBQ's. In response, I've always had fun experimenting with flavors and making new burgers for our get-togethers. This time I want to share one that was tried and tested with our family recently and is sure to be a hit at your summer BBQ's. This soy-free veggie burger is packed with flavor, that plays off the herby cilantro and spicy BBQ sauce, topped with an avocado slice on a sesame seed bun. Ham & Cheese Baked Roll-Ups


We're not really football fans but we do usually host a small Super Bowl party; mostly for the socializing, ads and half-time show. Honestly, I have fun cooking up food to nosh on throughout the game and one of my personal favorites is this recipe. So here is my tried and true, sure to please Ham & Cheese Baked Roll-Up recipe. 

Ham & Cheese Baked Roll-Ups Cooking for Kishore

Ingredients

  • 2 Pillsbury Crescent Roll Sheets
  • 1 lb Sliced Deli Ham
  • 1 lb Sliced Swiss cheese
  • Honey Mustard
  • 2 Chopped Green Onions
  • 1 Cup Shredded Raw Baby Spinach
  • Butter or Non-Stick Spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease up a 12 place muffin tin with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. Unroll one crescent sheet and spread honey mustard and sprinkle half of the chopped green onions on it, than add a layer of sliced ham and top it with a layer of sliced cheese. Roll up, slice into 6 equal pieces and place in muffin tin.
  3. Unroll the second crescent sheet and spread honey mustard and sprinkle half of the chopped green onions on it, than add a layer of sliced ham, top it with a layer of sliced cheese, and then the chopped spianch. Roll up, slice into 6 equal pieces and place in muffin tin.
  4. Transfer the filled muffin tin to the oven and bake for 10-13 minutes.
Yield: Makes 12
Prep Time: 5 mins. 
Cook time: 15 mins. 
Total time: 20 mins.
